EMV Card:How does it work?

The EMV/Chip Card is a debit card that contains an embedded microchip
and the traditional magnetic stripe.Your EMV/Chip card is usable at both enabled terminals and those that aren’t.

The chip generates a unique, one time code that is needed for your transaction to be approved. This makes it practically impossible to counterfeit the card, which gives you extra security when you make a purchase.
